Treats For Test

This week my students will be takng our big

Florida Comprehensive Achievement Test (aka FCAT)...

I made some sweet treats for both my fellow teachers

and my students...
We have to add a little pretty to a not-so-pretty test, right?

Goosie Girl was crafting right along with me...

She was embellishing her flip flops...

I hope everyone has a fabulous Monday...

Good luck to all those taking their FCAT!

Sweet Friday

Don't you just love Fridays?

Waking up knowing this is the last day of the work week...

The tone is usually a bit more relaxed...

You have the anticipation of the weekend...

What could be better?

Here is some sweetness to add to your day...

I hope you enjoy!

This is my most favorite dessert table EVER...

Perfect idea for a driveway happy hour...

You did know that stressed

is desserts spelled backwards...right?

I believe this is the sweetest picture

of all time...

Look at their faces...full of awe & excitement...

Gorgeous cake!

And this room...

Amazing!

This would definitely be a sweet room to call home!

Happy Weekend!

Girlie Bird Boutique

I've had this shop, Girlie Bird Boutique, bookmarked

in my Etsy favorites list for quite some time...

I happen to stumble across it

and it was love at first site...

Are these the most precious pillows?
I love everything about them...
the chenille, the pompom trim, the colorful appliques...

even the backs...

Totally love that floral print!

She even does shirts...
How sweet are these ruffles?...

Bibs...

Bags...

You must pop over to her Etsy shop
and take a peek at all her goodies...
You'll be glad you did!

A Rainbow Inspiration

Well it's back to the old grind...

Vacation weeks go by so much faster than regular weeks...

Why is that?

I've now begun the countdown till summer vacation...

Nine weeks...43 days...

I needed a little color to get me up and going today...

So what better than a rainbow?

I think I'm going to try and make this

 my mantra today...

Everyone loves twine...

Especially in pretty colors...

A little sweetness...

I want my classroom to look like this!

What...this old thing?...

Yes...I'll take it please...

What could be sweeter than this cake...

ooohhh...pretties...

And then this ruffled tablecloth...

Sigh...

Love, love, love...

The rainbows have already brightened my Monday...

I hope they brighten yours too!

at the beach with my family...

Here are some of the colors

that I've been admiring already...

Love this picture...

I will try to follow all these rules...

I wish I could look so glamorous...

I will be back next Monday...

Have a great week!
