Will He See His Shadow?

Tomorrow is Groundhog Day...
This little guy's big debut for the year
to see whether or not winter will stay or go...
Will he see his shadow or won't he...
I think I much prefer these cupcakes from Lily Jane...
You still have the whole groundhog shadow thing going
but these are edible...

I'm going to make some to take to school tomorrow
for the teachers...

A Circus Invitation Suite

Well I don't know what it is with me lately...
I've just been designing invites/cards up a storm...
I'm obsessed with digital clip art on Etsy...
There are so many adorable images...
I become overwhelmed with which one to order first...
This paper pack has been calling my name...
It keeps popping up everytime I click on Etsy...
I took it as a sign that I really needed to create with it...
So I did...
A precious little Circus theme...
Done in traditional colors, I think it turned out quite sweet...
What do you think?
With coordinating wrap arounds...
A personalized user friendly thank you note...
and of course you must have toppers...
Available now in Goosie Girl's Etsy shop...

Pretty Fairy Princess Ensemble

When I grow up, I want to be a Princess...
I still get excited seeing princess items in stores...
I'm so sad that Goosie Girl has grown out of this phase...
We've had a lot of princess moments...
Hopefully they'll come back around...
In the mean time, I created this Fairy Princess ensemble...
I just needed pretty in pink...
The invitation...
Not only will the guests be anticipating the upcoming event
but their mothers will be too...
Of course it comes with matching wrap address labels...
I mean a Princess can't send something
unless it's completely buttoned up, right?
And then it's only proper to send thank you notes
after throwing a fabulous birthday party...
These are Princess friendly meaning they just
have to fill in the blanks and sign their name...
And what's a party without toppers?
Attach them to anything and everything...

And then finally, since a Princess' schedule is always full...
They must be ready to attend a royal engagement
at the drop of a glass slipper...
Therefore they need personalized Present Enclosure Cards
ready to pop on that perfect gift...
You can find all the princess items here...
Oh and by the way...
I would add a tad of glitter to her wings, dress & crown
for a little bling...
And perhaps a crystal to her wand...
The best and only glitter that I use is Stickles in Diamond...
diamond stickles
It is phenomenal!  It's so easy to use and I dab it on anything
that needs a little sparkle...
You can order it here...

Happy Ever After!

Ghost Cupcakes

If you were feeling a bit crafty...
How cute would these be sitting on a dessert table
or taken in to school for a treat?
All you have to use is a dum-dum lollipop
and white fondant...

Yarn Poms For Adults?

As you may recall,
I made yarn pom toppers for Goosie Girl's
end of the year party at school...
they were so festive & fun...
Perfect for a school party...
Who would have thought yarn poms
could be classy...
 and for adults?
Well...see for yourself...

Sneak Peak With A How-To

I'm posting today while I'm overlooking
the amazing & beautiful Gulf of Mexico...
I absolutely love being at the beach
but gone are the days when I loved to
lay on the beach...
now it's way too hot & not to mention
terrible for your skin...
So what do I do?
I brought my cupcake toppers
that I am making for a baby shower
I am doing this weekend...
I liked my yarn poms so much
that I made for Goosie Girl's end of the year party
that I thought I would give this a try too...
This is the fabric that I lined all my vessels with...
(pics of that will be next week)
I usually use paper but I wanted to keep with
the motif so I thought why not?
I started measuring & cutting away...
They look fabulous!
ANYWAY... this (picture above) is going to turn in to this
but smaller (cupcake topper size)...

I found these instructions on Once Wed
complements of Ashley of Dolci Odille...

Supplies: Fabric, scissors, hot glue gun, and chinese lanterns.

Step 1: Cut circles out of fabric.
Step 2: Fold the circle in half and put a little hot glue
on the center, then fold over to secure.
Step 3: Apply more hot glue to the bottom of the folded circle.

Step 4: Press the bottom of the folded circle
with the hot glue onto the chinese lantern.
Step 5: Repeat these steps until the whole lantern is covered.
Once finished, attached some fabric to the metal frame
of the lantern to hang.
