Ice Cream Cone Cookies

A dear friend asked if I could make
ice cream cone cookies
for her daughter's birthday...
Of course...Goosie Girl would love to!
She wanted the colors to be hot pink & turquoise...
and I added a sparkly cherry on top...
I also love how the waffle cone turned out...
Enjoy the celebration!

Ice Cream Float Table

It has been so long
since I've had an ice cream float...
But what a perfect summer cool down...
And not to mention...simple!
I love the use of the individual coke bottles...
How fun it would be to add
Root Beer & Orange soda bottles too...
And for those non-float lovers,
sundaes...

An End Of The Year Ice Cream Party

This ice cream party was designed by Mirabelle Creations
as an end of the year party for her children...
As the end of school approaches for me
(4 more school days)...
I'm contemplating whether I have enough
time and energy to whip this together
for my students...
(We already have plans to walk to the neighboring park
to play and have Chick Fil-A for lunch with the other
4th grade classes)
But for the last hour...this would be cool & refreshing...
Help me out...do or not do???
Can I whine for just a moment and throw this in...
I'm SO exhausted...the end of school is like a marathon...
but this is such a great idea...
I love how she incorporated the oranges...

I could keep it simple...
vanilla ice cream...
and then just do toppings...
but that's the easy part...
the time consuming is all the fun details
that I couldn't live without...
How come I can't be normal
and just throw out some ice cream and say here?...

Doesn't this look SO yummy...

Hmmmm...

Ice Cream Cone Holders

I've really got summer on my mind...
In fact we have 20 school days left...
But who's counting?!
I'm loving this do-it-yourself
ice cream cone holder from 100 Layer Cake...
Perfect for a summer soiree...
Or an end of the year party...
 Looks rather easy to construct...
And your cones have a nice home to wait in...
No breaking...
Easy to grab...
A perfect addition to an ice cream table...
Get the full how-to here...

Vintage Sundae Bar

As I've said many a time,
I adore vintage anything...
So when I saw this simple sundae topping bar
I was smitten...
Ice-Cream-Sundae-Toppings
Sometimes I think we forget
that we can keep it simple and still have the same impact...
Like this charming table...
It doesn't matter where you have something...
or the scale of it...
What matters is the attention you put in to the details...

Beach Sweets

With Labor Day approaching,
summer ending
and one last beach hoorah...
How cute would these sweet treats be for dessert?
Both are complements of Martha Stewart...
