and asked if I could make these anchor cookies

(in her color scheme...navy & fuschia...)

to use as favors for her upcoming wedding...

A Wedding At The Fair

I spotted this wedding 

over at Elizabeth Anne Designs

and immediately was drawn in...

Could it be the colors?  The whimsicalness?  Or just everything?
I choose "C"...EVERYTHING!

The Pink & Yellow...Gorgeous!

Look at this bunting flag...for the groom...

This is made from cupcake liner garland...

To show everyone where they sit...

These colors just make me happy!







A pretty version of "Fair" food was even served...




People always say they just want their wedding to be like a party...
What could be more fun than a Fair?
And look how tastefully done it was...
This shows that with a little (okay...a lot) of planning
you can have a party/wedding/whatever anywhere!

I am just loving every single thing
about these wedding invitations from Thoughtful Day...
They make me feel happy just looking at them...
I love how they used the striped candy bag as the envelope...
I'm going to keep this idea in mind...

I'm in love!

filled with champagne slushies (yummy!)

Tiffany Blue Sweet Treats

I get the honor of helping my dear friend 

plan her wedding...

Remember when I showed you the samples 

of the invites that I made up for her?

She picked the Tiffany Blue/Damask...

The one Goosie Girl said looked like Miss Noelle...

Simple elegance...

I love it...

So last night I was on Flickr

browsing around for ideas for her big day...

These sweet treats caught my eye...

Are these not absolutely gorgeous??

Wedding Invitations

A dear friend of mine is getting remarried...

She asked me to create some samples for her...

I came up with three...

The first one is more childlike because I worded it as though

her two sweet girls & his son were the ones giving the wedding...        

         

Swarovski crystals line the flag...

I had to add alittle bling...

        

The second one is a simple cake with Swarovski crystals 

on the top & the base...

The colors didn't show as well as I'd of liked...

A soft yellow & turquoise...

                                           

My husband liked this one the best...

Last but not least...

A tiffany blue with black & white damask...

Adorned with a satin black ribbon & starfish on the pocketfold...

It is a destination wedding after all...

even if we do live in Florida not to far from the beach...

Goosie Girl liked this one best...

She said this looks like "Miss Noelle"...

Pretty In Pomegranate & Pink

First of all...new text color...
I updated the features on my blog & the new format doesn't have my usual "pretty in pink" color...
it just has a bright "fuschia" which doesn't seem to look right with the rest...
So how about a soothing green?

A Wedding Invite Bid

I'm making a bid on Etsy to work with a bride on her wedding invitations.

I had so much fun trying to incorporate her wishes into a stunning invitation suite.

Since first impressions are so important,

your wedding paperie needs to make an impact on your guests

and have them anticipating your event....

Don't you agree?

She said that her colors were dove gray, eggplant & paisley (since her beloved would be wearing it).

She also said that she wanted her invitations to open like a book & have a pocket to hold the enclosures...

Oooohhhh, pretty paisley...

Classy & elegant...

Enclosures that replicate the invitation...

I love how they flow together...
