I am SO glad today is Friday...

and SO thankful that next week we have no school!

One of my clients

who has been with me from the beginning

(you may remember 

I styled her 40th birthday party)

always asks me to design her Christmas cards...

So I am just loving the one for this year that has a vintage feel...

A sparkly background...
A sparkled white lace paper border...
The actual card glittered up...
It is gorgeous (if I do say so myself) in real life...

I can't believe it's time to start sending
Christmas cards out!

Double Duty Personalized Notecards

I picked up the latest copy

of Martha Stewart Weddings yesterday...

Amazing eye candy...as usual...

I love pouring over the pages...

soaking in each and every picture, idea, & detail...

I think this idea is absolutely fabulous...

a beautifully done personalized notecard

 (which becomes the favor)

that doubles as a place card...

You could adapt this idea to a shower, a birthday...

The possibilities are endless...

For a smaller group (unlike a wedding)

perhaps design 4 cards, wrap them oh so pretty

and voila' favors done...check...check..check...

Sweet Baby Paperie Suite

I am just adoring this little paperie suite

I designed for a friend...

It just has sweetness written all over...

The baby lion...

With wrap around address labels...

For those notes that you don't mail,

a sticker for the front on which to write a name...

The baby rhino...

This suite will be in the shop by tonight...

Valentine's Day

Wishing you a day filled with sweets, treats & love...

Goosie Girl and I were busy yesterday 

getting all of our goodies ready for today...

and then I've been wanting some personalized

notecards for school so I whipped up these

in Lilly colors...

and then I thought the envelope needed a pop

of color so I added these stickers...

maybe I'll get to use them today...

A Puff Of Penguins - Free Printables

Goosie Girl told me that she wanted

 a penguin Valentine card...

I know Valentine's Day isn't for a month...

but I wanted to get a jump start designing because Lord knows

how long it'll take to get it right for her...

On the first attempt, she told me it looked like a bookmark

and she didn't like the wording...

So I redid it...made it wider & shorter...

kept the wording simpler...

She liked...I got the approval...

Of course we will add some treats

to the card but we haven't quite gotten that far yet...

And then of course we needed a label for the front of the envelope

because how boring it would be without one...

Find the perfect 4.25x4.25envelopes here...

So since she's on this penguin kick

and she has a few thank you notes to write,

I thought I'd design a flat note for her

with the same penguin motiff...

And yes indeed we needed coordinating

wrap around address labels...

So...

No sense in keeping these sweet little things to myself...

A Note Perhaps?

Today I am mailing out

five orders of personalized notecards 

that I made...

The first set is for my friend who loves FSU...

The second set is for her daughter

who is quite the precious diva...

The final three sets are the same...

Classy purses in six different designs...

This is just one...

It's funny how I love to create stationery

but I'm terrible at sending notes...

Oh well...

A Wedding Invite Bid

I'm making a bid on Etsy to work with a bride on her wedding invitations.

I had so much fun trying to incorporate her wishes into a stunning invitation suite.

Since first impressions are so important,

your wedding paperie needs to make an impact on your guests

and have them anticipating your event....

Don't you agree?

She said that her colors were dove gray, eggplant & paisley (since her beloved would be wearing it).

She also said that she wanted her invitations to open like a book & have a pocket to hold the enclosures...

Oooohhhh, pretty paisley...

Classy & elegant...

Enclosures that replicate the invitation...

I love how they flow together...

Of course, adjustments can be made to fit her style...
