Baby It's Cold Outside

Well...it's the first day back to school
after the holidays...
It was SO hard to get out of bed...

especially when you could hear the wind howling...
and knowing that

Good thing I have the perfect outfit...

Sweet Friday - Christmas Cookies

Well yesterday Goosie Girl was home sick...
so I took advantage of our down time
to whip up some Christmas cookies...
I used a vintage turquoise & pink color combo...
I really like how it turned out...
First, I redid my preppy stockings...
(the hand painted didn't work out...they never dried properly)
and added a touch of chevron...
then I moved on to snowmen...
I love these little guys...

and what's Christmas without trees...
 with some sparkly stars...
add them all together...

Of course these would be perfect
 for all your holiday festivities...
a hostess gift...
or a sweet treat for someone special...
Get yours here...

Pink & Purple Penguin Party

I am just LOVING this party
When Goosie Girl sees this
she is going to be wanting one too...
A Pink & Purple Penguin party...
I love the whimsical colors she used rather than the traditional...
So fun and perfect for the girls...

I, myself would love to come to this craft party...
Glory...can I come?

These penguin cookies are gorgeous...as usual...

and how cute is this place setting...
complete with a penguin water bottle...

Just precious...

Doughnut Holes

Wouldn't these be a good morning treat
if your child had these waiting for breakfast?
They are the cutest aren't they?
And to think they are doughnut holes...

Fun Snowmen Drinks

Wouldn't these be the perfect addition to your winter party whether it was for children or adults?

tall snowmen drinking glasses

A glass of milk takes on new deliciousness with doughnut-hole snowmen heads. Outfit powdered doughnut holes with eyes and a nose made of edible food clay. Pierce a hole through the center of the doughnut using a skewer and fit in a straw. Make a miniature scarf for the glass from orange yarn and trim it with scrapbook brads in the shape of snowflakes.
