Sweet Friday - New Year's Cookies

WOW...
Can you believe it's time to ring in another new year?
I thought there would be nothing better to celebrate
than with sweets & sparkle...
No luster dust for this chick...
I went for the real deal...disco dust...aka glitter...
Because isn't the new year a time to get your shine back on?
Shiny & sparkly is definitely the way to go...

I'm looking forward to what the new year has in store
for Goosie Girl...
Because it's time...

FSU Cookies

I made these pretties for a friend
who was making her neighbor an FSU themed gift basket...
I've already been getting a lot of flack
from my gator pals...

Anyway...
I tried using gold luster dust to add shine...
But, I must admit that I was not impressed...
You can't even hardly see it...
I think that I am more of a sparkle, disco dust kind of girl...

I think they turned out cute...
They would definitely be perfect for tailgating...
What do you think?

A Children's Christmas Table

Oh to sit at the children's table again...
They sure have come a long way
since I was a kid...
Take a peek at this one from Celebrations at Home

I have always loved this snowman drink...
So precious...

I made these candy topiary trees last year
for my class holiday party and the children
loved and were amazed by them...

I think adults & children would be fighting to sit here...
So easy...it just requires a little planning...
You still have time...

Present Wrapping "Helpers"

While perusing over at Martha Stewart
I stumbled up on this idea which I just loved...
Since children always want to "help" and be part of the process
why not let them "fancy" up some of the gifts with their artwork...
Simple...easy...keeps idle hands busy...
Once they are finished designing,
Tie it up with a simple bow and viola...
Look how sweet these look...

Holiday Centerpiece

I do think that I may need to make several of these pretties
to grace my table for Christmas dinner...
Centerpiece
All you have to do is hot glue fresh flowers
to a vessel of your choice and add greenery...
Festive and gorgeous...

Disney Cruise Cookies

I made these Mickey cookies with a nautical twist
for a dear friend
who is using these to announce to her family
that she is taking them all on a Disney Cruise...
What a gift, huh?!!
Anchors away!
Be sure to tell Captain Jack Sparrow
and the Princesses I said hello...
Enjoy!

Sweet Friday - Christmas Cookies

Well yesterday Goosie Girl was home sick...
so I took advantage of our down time
to whip up some Christmas cookies...
I used a vintage turquoise & pink color combo...
I really like how it turned out...
First, I redid my preppy stockings...
(the hand painted didn't work out...they never dried properly)
and added a touch of chevron...
then I moved on to snowmen...
I love these little guys...

and what's Christmas without trees...
 with some sparkly stars...
add them all together...

Of course these would be perfect
 for all your holiday festivities...
a hostess gift...
or a sweet treat for someone special...
Get yours here...

I love the whimsical colors she used rather than the traditional...
So fun and perfect for the girls...

I, myself would love to come to this craft party...
Glory...can I come?

These penguin cookies are gorgeous...as usual...

and how cute is this place setting...
complete with a penguin water bottle...

my new Cricut out of the box yet?
I'm ready to create all kinds of things with it...
How cute is this idea that would make such a nice gift...

How fun would it be to use this as the
gift basket and stuff it with treats...
Oh the possibilities that float around in my mind...

Hot Cocoa & Candy Christmas Party

I am absolutely SMITTEN
with this Christmas party designed and styled
Every last detail was executed perfectly...
You will be swooning over this spectacular eyecandy...
Perhaps this will inspire you to have one of your own...
Prepare to be amazed...

Can you believe these are cake pops???

My absolute FAVORITE are these glasses...
Sweetness abounds...

Love how she tied the straw to the drink...
Need to make note to self to remember...

And this tablecloth...
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G...
But wait...
(As if the above wasn't enough)
There's more...
A hot cocoa bar...
Dying now...can you tell?!

I just adore how she dresses up the ordinary
and makes it extraordinary...
Like this coffee pot...

And these mugs...sigh...

Are you ready to recreate this yourself?
Visit her Etsy store for the paperie products
and here for the list of vendors she used...
Happy party planning!
