While perusing over at Daisy Pink Cupcake,
I stumbled upon the most AMAZING photographer ever...
Let me say that again...AMAZING!
Pink Paisley...
Look at this eye candy...
The colors, the props, the clothing, of course the children...
AMAZING...
GORGEOUS...
Can you tell I like this person?

Goosie Girl's Party

The girls did enjoy Goosie Girl's party...
They were asking all kinds of questions about the dessert table
and I could tell they really appreciated the little touches...
The colors, as you know, were royal blue, fuschia, black & white...
I found these darling, sparkly cats at Pier One...
I covered chocolate bars & added a festive tag...
They are sitting upon a pedestal that I tied tulle around
to look like a tutu...

Pink pumpkin also came from Pier One...
You can't have a party without pops...
Those are brownie pops...
Doughnut holes are in the back pedestal...
The rock candy was a HUGE hit...
The girls had their choice of brew...
root beer or grape...
I stumbled across a cupcake store that is delicious...
Sweet Designs Kitchen...
I got an assortment of different flavors
and put toppers on them...
I kind of like just buying everything...
it's a lot easier!

I made the rosettes for an extra touch...
I also made Goosie Girl's headband with the same...

Beautifully done chocolate covered Oreos
The girls were most impressed with these!

You can't appreciate them very well
but those pink things are actually gummy teeth
that I bought at Cracker Barrel...
Poms from Pom Love...
The favors were monogrammed bags...
Goosie Girl in her tutu I made...
Posing...
One of the games that evening...
mummy wrapping...
The tutu didn't last long...
And they all had a wonderful, witchy time
laughing, running around, eating & enjoying...
The End...

Party Sneak Peek

Whew!  I'm always so glad when a party is over...
Goosie Girl was very satisfied the way her party turned out...
I think her friends were too...
Here's a quick glimpse...
Oreos from Sweeties by Kim...
The girls were amazed by these...
One said "those are the prettiest oreo cookies I've ever seen"
and they are seriously delicious!
Poms from Pom Love...
I love these things!
They were so easy to fluff up...
More pics tomorrow...

Last Minute...

I have been a busy bee getting ready for Goosie Girl's party
which is tomorrow night...
Hopefully since I've started early,
I won't be running crazy tomorrow...
We'll see how that goes...
I love how the colors are coming together...
Tune in on Monday for pics & deets...
Happy Weekend!

Which Drink Is Mine?

We've all been at parties
where you've set down your drink
and then can't remember whose is whose...
Here's a simple, inexpensive way to solve that problem...
(and be festive at the same time)
Told you it was easy...
A pipe cleaner, an embellishment of your choice, glue...
Adapt to any holiday...

A Little Sanding Sugar

How easy would these be to recreate?
You could buy a premade cake...
Grab a stencil and some sanding sugar and voila...
Gorgeous, in a spooky kind of way, isn't it?

Every Girl Loves The Little Blue Box With The White Satin Ribbon

Every girl loves this blue box with the white satin ribbon...
The thought of which sparkly jewel might be inside is to much for me...
How about sparkly jewels & desserts put together?
That might be better than just the blue box...
This table that Fete Fanatic put together
is over the top...
Might I say, Oooh La La?

Sweet Friday

This is brilliant!
Doughnuts have become quite a hot commodity in the party scene...
Those sweet circles of pure delight
look spectacular on a dessert table...
And rather economical too...
You can buy some plain baby doughnuts...
whip some some glaze in your favorite color...
dip them in and voila...
I plan on having some at Goosie Girl's party...
But I'm going to use doughnut holes instead...
Happy Weekend!

Sweet & Pretty Tablescape

I A-D-O-R-E this table...
patisserie French bakery inspired wedding
Those ribbon curtains are the perfect touch!
I love how you could adapt this party
to a baby sower, a bridal shower,
or even a birthday for the young or old...
But wait...
as if that wasn't enough...
they added a tea station to it...
Vintage French tea time inspired wedding table hand drawn chalboard
Simple perfection!

These are definitely pretty in pink...

Sweet Friday

I L-O-V-E caramel apples...
That is one treat I truly look forward to all year...
The gooey caramel with that sweet, tart, crisp apple...
Pure delight!
These blinged out apples look quite decadent...
I love the way candy apples look...
The sheen of the candy is gorgeous...
Aren't these oh so spooky?

How About A Tulle Wreath?

Tulle is haunting me now...
I must say that I'm loving this wreath from Flamingo Toes...
Same concept as making tutus except you do it on styrofoam...
She added some boa to give it bling...
and I love her sign & black raven...
Would you like the how-to?
Pop over to her site for the details...

Little Witches

This picture is killing me!
It is absolutely the sweetest thing ever!
I really wanted Goosie Girl's party to look like this...
but she told me that was too babyish...
Remember I mentioned the black tutus I was going to make?
Well...
I started on Goosie Girl's during the Gator game over the weekend...
I had 5 yards of tulle...
I thought that would be enough for several tutus...
haha...
I spent hours cutting all the strips...
then tying them to the elastic...
Then I had to stop...
I needed a break (a break that never stopped)...
I think I have about 1 yard left and I'm only half way around the elastic of the first tutu...
I must say it looks great so far...
I will finish Goosie Girl's but I don't think I can make 11 more...
Is that bad?
I really had images of them looking like this...
But in a tween sort of way...
I've always loved tutus but I have sincere appreciation for them now...
Any ideas of something easier?

Halloween Invite

I just put the finishing touches
on the invitation for our school Halloween party
(adults only...no children!)
I'm styling the dessert table
while everyone else will bring appetizers...
I kept the invitation simple but used bold colors...
What do you think?
