New Invites

I have added a few new invitations
to my Etsy shop...
The first up...
Calling all witches...
This one is for a ladies night...
I'm SO loving the chevron
and orange & pink color combo...
and the second I created for Goosie Girl's
birthday last year...
and since Halloween is approaching...
Switching gears...
The next one I just designed for a friend
whose little precious is turning one...
She wanted to incorporate a zebra print...
I love how it adds a tad of bling...

Do you have any parties coming up?

I absolutely L-O-V-E owls...
So when I spotted this pj party on Kara's Party Ideas
I was swooning!
Photobucket
This party was designed by Snowy Bliss...
I must say she is EXTREMELY talented not to mention crafty!

Photobucket
She actually made this bed out of
cardboard, a marker and an exacto knife...
You can gasp now...
Photobucket
Keep gasping...
Is this window the most darling thing you've ever seen?
People never cease to amaze me with what they can think up...
Photobucket
Look at these sweet little guys...
(If you're interested in making these, click here...
I had found and posted a tutorial awhile back that showed us
how to make these precious, wise little fellows...)
Photobucket
Now, my favorite...
I ADORE these drinks
with the striped paper straws and owls attached!
Love, love, love!

Skate On Over

Goosie Girl's friend is having a skating birthday party...
I designed these invites for her...
Kind of divaish don't you think?
I'm loving the toppers
which could also be used as stickers...
These will be available in the shop soon...

My Birthday

After a week of celebrating
my upcoming 40th birthday...
(my hub took me to San Francisco
which was absolutely fabulous)
it is finally here...
Today is my 40th birthday...
I'm so excited about this upcoming year...
feeling comfortable with who I am...
knowing what I like and don't like...
wanting to enjoy & celebrate...
Happy Birthday to me!

Goosie Girl's Party

The girls did enjoy Goosie Girl's party...
They were asking all kinds of questions about the dessert table
and I could tell they really appreciated the little touches...
The colors, as you know, were royal blue, fuschia, black & white...
I found these darling, sparkly cats at Pier One...
I covered chocolate bars & added a festive tag...
They are sitting upon a pedestal that I tied tulle around
to look like a tutu...

Pink pumpkin also came from Pier One...
You can't have a party without pops...
Those are brownie pops...
Doughnut holes are in the back pedestal...
The rock candy was a HUGE hit...
The girls had their choice of brew...
root beer or grape...
I stumbled across a cupcake store that is delicious...
Sweet Designs Kitchen...
I got an assortment of different flavors
and put toppers on them...
I kind of like just buying everything...
it's a lot easier!

I made the rosettes for an extra touch...
I also made Goosie Girl's headband with the same...

Beautifully done chocolate covered Oreos
The girls were most impressed with these!

You can't appreciate them very well
but those pink things are actually gummy teeth
that I bought at Cracker Barrel...
Poms from Pom Love...
The favors were monogrammed bags...
Goosie Girl in her tutu I made...
Posing...
One of the games that evening...
mummy wrapping...
The tutu didn't last long...
And they all had a wonderful, witchy time
laughing, running around, eating & enjoying...
The End...
