New Invites

I have added a few new invitations
to my Etsy shop...
The first up...
Calling all witches...
This one is for a ladies night...
I'm SO loving the chevron
and orange & pink color combo...
and the second I created for Goosie Girl's
birthday last year...
and since Halloween is approaching...
Switching gears...
The next one I just designed for a friend
whose little precious is turning one...
She wanted to incorporate a zebra print...
I love how it adds a tad of bling...

Do you have any parties coming up?

I designed these invites for her...
Kind of divaish don't you think?
I'm loving the toppers
which could also be used as stickers...
These will be available in the shop soon...

A Circus Invitation Suite

Well I don't know what it is with me lately...
I've just been designing invites/cards up a storm...
I'm obsessed with digital clip art on Etsy...
There are so many adorable images...
I become overwhelmed with which one to order first...
This paper pack has been calling my name...
It keeps popping up everytime I click on Etsy...
I took it as a sign that I really needed to create with it...
So I did...
A precious little Circus theme...
Done in traditional colors, I think it turned out quite sweet...
What do you think?
With coordinating wrap arounds...
A personalized user friendly thank you note...
and of course you must have toppers...
Available now in Goosie Girl's Etsy shop...

Pretty Fairy Princess Ensemble

When I grow up, I want to be a Princess...
I still get excited seeing princess items in stores...
I'm so sad that Goosie Girl has grown out of this phase...
We've had a lot of princess moments...
Hopefully they'll come back around...
In the mean time, I created this Fairy Princess ensemble...
I just needed pretty in pink...
The invitation...
Not only will the guests be anticipating the upcoming event
but their mothers will be too...
Of course it comes with matching wrap address labels...
I mean a Princess can't send something
unless it's completely buttoned up, right?
And then it's only proper to send thank you notes
after throwing a fabulous birthday party...
These are Princess friendly meaning they just
have to fill in the blanks and sign their name...
And what's a party without toppers?
Attach them to anything and everything...

And then finally, since a Princess' schedule is always full...
They must be ready to attend a royal engagement
at the drop of a glass slipper...
Therefore they need personalized Present Enclosure Cards
ready to pop on that perfect gift...
You can find all the princess items here...
Oh and by the way...
I would add a tad of glitter to her wings, dress & crown
for a little bling...
And perhaps a crystal to her wand...
The best and only glitter that I use is Stickles in Diamond...
diamond stickles
It is phenomenal!  It's so easy to use and I dab it on anything
that needs a little sparkle...
You can order it here...

Happy Ever After!

Halloween Invite

I just put the finishing touches
on the invitation for our school Halloween party
(adults only...no children!)
I'm styling the dessert table
while everyone else will bring appetizers...
I kept the invitation simple but used bold colors...
What do you think?

Calling All Witches...Take 2

Well...
Goosie Girl & I have come up with
a new & improved version of her birthday party invites...
I added a black backing & a few Swarovski crystals to it as well...
I just love the way it looks!
Don't get me wrong...
I did like the other one...
 but...
it just wasn't exactly what I had in mind...
I wanted something more girly, you know?
Then I came up with this...
I'm totally loving the blue!
So now the color scheme is blue, pink, black & white
(with a hint of orange)...
And then I went ahead & made toppers...
and drink flags...
 food cards...
 drink labels...
and last but not least...
water bottle labels...
Do you like?

Calling All Witches...

Goosie Girl finally secured a theme
for her upcoming birthday in October...
A Witchy Party...
We were working on the invites this weekend...
Here's what we've come up with...
Of course we are going to add a little bling to jazz it up...
and then what's a party without toppers?
and then you must know what you're eating...
so we made food labels...
(of course our menu has not been solidified
but I'm sure these will be part of it)...
We'll just have to fold them over and they'll be perfect...
and finally flags for the straws...
At least we've got a start...
What do you think?
Goosie Girl gave it her seal of approval...
Now I will be on to making black tutus...

Camp Rock Invitation

Goosie Girl is wanting to have a
 Camp Rock 2 premiere party...
So, I have had to get started with the planning...
after all, it will be here before you know it...
and with going back to teaching and all,
I need to get a jump start...
I've been playing around with the invite...
here's what I've come up with so far...
(Goosie Girl hasn't even seen this yet
so who knows what she'll say)...

I'm going to add a rhinestone trim
to the bottom of the polkadots
for some added sparkle...
and then use this as the envelope...
Purple Candy Stripe Paper Bags
you can't tell from these pics
but the purples actually blend quite nicely...
What do you think?

Happy Invitations

I am just loving every single thing
about these wedding invitations from Thoughtful Day...
They make me feel happy just looking at them...
I love how they used the striped candy bag as the envelope...
I'm going to keep this idea in mind...

Baby Shower Invitations

I've been asked to do a dessert & food table
for a baby shower that is taking place at a tea house...
I was asked to do the invitations as well...
I'm so excited!
The colors are teal & brown...
She wants the shower's theme to be arctic animals...
I chose the whale...
Here are the two sample invites that I came up with...
What do you think?
My photo skills are not the best...
I really need to work on that...

Baking Up A Storm & Sneak Peak

I've been busy this week...
A lady asked me to make three dozen cookies for her granddaughter
that was graduating from dental school...
What could be better for a dentist-to-be than a tooth & toothbrush...

This is what happens to those I don't like...
It gets eaten...
It's our turn on Saturday to bring snack to Goosie Girl's soccer game...
I thought these would be a nice addition...

SNEAK PEAK
I've also been working hard on my friend's 40th birthday...
Here is a peek at the invites that were just sent out...
I love the rage with the wrap around address labels...
it just looks so classy...
The invitation suite...
I lined the envelopes with a houndstooth print, used it on the address labels,
and will carry this print throughout the party as well...
She also wanted an insert that reminded guests not to bring presents...
Of course I had to add a little bling...
A few Swarovski crystals & some sparkle makes everything better...
